Abstract Expressionism - Final

The process of building this painting was one that took me to places I never imagined I would explore on a canvas, but I have been pleasantly surprised once again. There's chaos and color and the collision of so many experiments all coming together at once, and yet it feels so real and so raw; I can't even complain. I do believe my color choice was one that could have used some work, as well as a thicker surface and other minor details, though I give myself grace at trying techniques completely out of my comfort zone. This painting is not perfect, but it's alive, and in a lot of ways it is a direct reflection of myself on a canvas. This experience is not one I think I will explore too much further, but I can now come to appreciate the type of work in way I hadn't been able to previously.
